Requirement: We are currently looking for a full-time operations manager to oversee a portfolio of care services across Greater London. The role will be based at Hartwig's Camden office but will cover Greater London.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Managing Day-to-Day Operations: Overseeing the daily running of care delivery and keeping senior management updated.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensuring the highest standards of care in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Liaising and cooperating with CQC inspectors and inspections.
  • Care Assessments and Plans: Completing care assessments and developing care plans.
  • Team Leadership: Leading a team of assessors, inspectors, regulatory coordinators, and officers.
  • Risk Management: Maintaining an ongoing view of quality, safety, and risk for services in their area.

 

Skills/Requirements:

  • Leadership and Management: Strong leadership abilities to guide and motivate teams, along with effective management skills to oversee operations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, patients, and regulatory bodies.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of care regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and high standards of care.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address issues and improve operational efficiencies.
  • Empathy and Compassion: A genuine empathy and compassion towards patients, which is crucial in the care industry.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and ensure smooth operations.
  • Financial Acumen: Proficiency in budgeting and resource management to maintain the financial health of the care facility.
