On 30th September, the Grosvenor Hotel played host to one of the most inspiring evenings of the year—the 2023 Care Sector Fundraising Ball. The grand ballroom sparkled with elegant decorations, setting the stage for a night filled with unity, gratitude, and generosity.
Guests arrived in their finest attire, each one eager to show appreciation for the tireless dedication of care workers—the unsung heroes who provide essential support to our community’s most vulnerable members. The atmosphere was electric, a glittering display of compassion and solidarity.
Honouring Care Workers
Organised by Championing Social Care, the event was more than just a glamorous evening. It was a heartfelt tribute to the extraordinary individuals who devote their lives to caring for others. Every detail of the night reflected the mission: to celebrate their commitment while raising vital funds for causes that directly support them.
An Incredible Fundraising Achievement
The generosity of attendees shone brightly, with an astounding £426,852 raised during the evening. These funds will be shared equally between two remarkable organisations:
- The Care Workers’ Charity – providing financial assistance to care workers facing hardship due to illness or unforeseen circumstances.
- Alzheimer’s Society – leading the fight against dementia and offering crucial support to those affected.
Together, these charities ensure that care workers and those they serve receive the help and recognition they deserve.
