At Hartwig Care we understand that a change in routines and environment can be upsetting for someone living with dementia.
A health condition such as dementia can increase feelings such as loss of control, understanding or being able to do the things you once enjoyed independently.
A Hartwig care assistant will have undertaken familiarisation training and will have skills to understand a person and how they are feeling, to communicate in the appropriate manner and style and will offer a sense of security to the person with the condition.

2. Let’s Meet – Ulga will meet you and your family in your home. This visit is free of charge and allow us to make sure that everyone is happy with introducing visiting home care. Working closely with you, we will create a personalised plan that meets everyone’s needs.
3. Care Begins – Hartwig will match you with expert carers that meet your needs. You’ll have peace of mind knowing your personal care plan will be delivered by our care specialists. We understand the importance of continuity, and depending on requirements, there may be two Hartwig Care Assistants who will visit on a rota basis.
