Hartwig Care is thrilled to announce a new charity partnership with the Royal Voluntary Service (RVS). This collaboration underscores our commitment to enhancing the lives of our clients by partnering with local charities that share our values and mission.
The Royal Voluntary Service operates across the UK, providing essential support to elderly and vulnerable individuals in the community. Their dedicated volunteers work alongside healthcare teams and within communities to offer practical assistance and emotional support to those in need. From helping people transition home from hospital to running home libraries and providing companionship, RVS’s efforts promote better health, social interaction, and connection, while also alleviating pressure on the NHS and care services.
Given the alignment of our stakeholders and goals, this partnership presents a fantastic opportunity for Hartwig Care to further engage and support our valued service users.
RVS hosts a variety of community activities, including Lunch Clubs where elderly individuals can gather at local community hubs to socialise. They also run ‘Virtual Village Halls,’ which are webinars and engagement events broadcast to thousands of households weekly, designed to reach those who are unable to leave their homes. Additionally, RVS offers incredible voluntary opportunities in care settings and hospitals, which will be beneficial for Hartwig Care’s Social Value Scheme.
Over the coming months, there will be numerous opportunities for our teams to get involved and support this wonderful charity. We look forward to working closely with RVS to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve.
Keep an eye out for more updates on the growth of this exciting partnership.
